i got a boss roland br 900 8 track recorder recently and i have been demoing new songs and covers everyday. its a great and easy way to record and get ideas down. im going to start posting demos on here on a rotating basis, and im gonna take most of the left coast songs down. if you want to hear those songs a regular basis you should probably buy the record. we only have about 20 copies left and are probably not going to make more. so far ive recorded the following songs-
come on die young 2
everybody knows this is nowhere (n. young)
harvest (n. young)
yftf more than once
friendly as the wind (bryn cover)
assorted thoughts on whidbey island pt 1
when the day is done (new banjo song)
more to come.

well, we are back from our west coast trip. it was a blast, thanks to everyone who showed up and gave a fuck. we also recorded a short ep when we were down south. it will be called “the uncle bt ep” in honor of our new, beautiful niece, Callie Mae Young. it will be self-released on cassette with cd accompaniment for the technologically advanced. it is basically a continuation of f-bomb. with a few things from the f bomb sessions as well as some new songs and a cover. it hopefully be done in time for our july trip. so we won’t be doing too much musically in may and june. i will be getting my tonsils taken out while joshy will be shooting a full length film with his twin brother. it will be called “Afraid to Merge” and should be done in the fall. but come july we will be back in action with a few local shows and another west coast jaunt. to support our ep. so get your bt fix while you can.

that’s it for now,

so we just got done laying the intial tracks for our next release entitled “F-Bomb.” it’s going to be around 15 tracks or so with titles like, “put your collar down, you’re not James Dean” and “who’s luke and why is he always warm?” hopefully it will be done around spring, but in the mean time we will be playing around locally as much as possible. So look out for some new tracks live and all that. oh, and we’ll put some pictures up from the session when we can.

p.s. Bellingham is (insert f-bomb here) freezing!
